"Evolution vs. Revolution in Turbulent Times"
No doubt today's socioeconomic environment requires leadership that will encourage a clear, profound and dynamic vision of the architecture of the world's financial system and, accordingly, its impact on the key insurance industry in Latin America.
While there is pressure to take up the "back-to-basics" approach as the right position for analyzing and managing organizations in turbulent times with a traditional approach leading to reliable and sustainable "evolution," other forces take a "revolutionary" tack calling into question current business models and promoting accelerated changes in the industry to guarantee a return to competitiveness.
This year LIMRA's Latin-American conference seeks to sponsor a debate about which strategies and initiatives are best for managing today's business environment and taking full advantage of the opportunities it offers.
