LIMRA, LOMA, and our parent organization, LL Global Inc., are an international research and education trade association for the insurance, retirement, and financial services industries, serving the needs of more than 1,200 member companies across 64 countries.

Services

Contractor agrees to proactively :

  • Represent LOMA for the purposes of soliciting membership by qualified life and financial services company and other organizations that meet LOMA’s membership requirements in the markets of India, The Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.  
  • Support strategy planning in cooperation with senior team to develop English and local language LOMA.
  • Market the following products and services in the above mentioned markets:
  • LOMA’s education programs
  • LOMA Consulting Services
  • Conference attendance and sponsorship for LOMA conferences
  • Other products as mutually agreed upon in writing

 

Contractor agrees to:

  • to support the following markets : India and The Philippines
  • to develop the following markets : Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Membership

  • Retain our current members and recruits new ones.
  • Plan forums as agreed with the Division Head including HR Summits, LOMA Ed Rep roundtables, Executive Boards and other executive forums.

 

Company Visits

  • Minimum of one week per month of traveling
  • Visit LOMA members on a regular basis depending on location
    • Once per quarter: Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia
    • Once a year: The Philippines, India.
  • In between visits, the Contractor should implement a regular email and phone communication plan with member companies to be approved by the Division Head.
  • Contractor shall provide a monthly activity report to the International Member Services Manager.
  • Contractor shall plan company visits for visiting LIMRA and LOMA staff.
  • Collect and submit the names and contact information of specific key contacts at each member companies.

 

Shared Customer Service responsibility with local LOMA consultants:

  • Contractor shall act as a point of contact for customers.
  • Contractor shall assist LIMRA and LOMA in collecting monies for past-due invoices issued to customers.
  • Assist with annual membership dues collection.

Customer Centricity

  • Demonstrate value of products and services to open opportunities for cross-selling of additional products and services.
  • Constantly monitor data and trends to identify ways in which to work more closely and provide additional value to clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and topics through attendance at internal and external meetings, reading of trade press, etc.
  • Remain constantly focused on growing business in all product areas - when meeting and working with prospects, when connecting with clients, listen attentively to clients' needs to identify opportunities for cross-selling and facilitate process to close new business.
  • Communicate customer input, suggestions and comments to other sales, marketing and production teams as necessary.

Oversight & Administration:

  • Coordinate the in-region network in the assigned markets. 
  • Connect with the in-country network at least once per month for progress checks and planning purposes.
  • Create strategy for the markets to develop and work with local consultants on supported markets

Other Requirements:

  • Contractor will be required to attend regular training provided by LIMRA and LOMA.
  • Contractor shall assist with review of translated materials.
  • Manage the overall revenue and expense budget assigned.
  • Meet monthly with the International Member Services Manager by phone.
  • Attend LIMRA/LOMA in-region conferences and training as requested

Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years + experience within financial services industry (learning and development experience an advantage)
  • 5-6 years + experience in relationship management - both business to business and direct to client. 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Tech savvy with use of Social media and understanding of Millennial trends
  • English language a must, other languages advantage
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in management, business, sales, or marketing. 
  • Exceptional communication skills and relationship building tendencies. 
  • An interest and desire to gain in-depth understanding of member company needs
  • Creativity and the willingness to be proactive a must.
  • Excellent time management, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills required. 
  • A strong commitment to excellent customer service; attention to detail and quality control.
