LIMRA and LOMA have a long history in the insurance and financial services industry. They were separate organizations since their inception in 1916 and 1924 respectively, and in 2008 came together into one corporate entity, LL Global. With well-established brands, we continue to market under LIMRA and LOMA. Both brands are dedicated to providing our members with Research and Learning and Development products and services as we strive to fulfill our purpose which is: To Be the Trusted Source for Industry Knowledge.

Your First Day—A Personal Orientation

• HR — EVP, Core Values, Code of Conduct, Information Security, and Social Media Training, Benefits Overview, Employee Handbook, and so much more!
• IT— PC Log-in, Telephone and Voicemail training
• Your Manager— Go to lunch with your manager and/or team

Your First Week

• Get to know other staff with whom you will be interacting within the department and organization.
• Learn about LL Global goals and priorities and how your unit/department/division contributes to those.
• Review our intranet site. You will find organizational charts, PowerPoint templates, and much more information from every department!
• Review reporting systems such as our time reporting system and travel and expense system.
• Finalize any open issues related to the forms you completed or received during orientation.

Your Second Week

• Meet with manager to review your performance goals and the performance appraisal system
• Personalized training with manager or designee
