Those leading and/or involved in efforts to better utilize analytics in the insurance and financial services business. Whether you work within the data realm or are a business executive keen on gaining a better understanding this conference has something for you.

Highlights

This year's program seeks to take full advantage of the Boston, MA location, which many call the big data capital of the world. Both structured and informal networking sessions provide plenty of opportunity to forge new professional contacts.

The topics of big data, predictive analytics, and advanced analytics are rapidly becoming important for the insurance and financial services industry. This conference brings you high-level industry presenters and actionable content which will provide insights into the way insurance and financial services companies will harness big data in the future.

LIMRA has taken this conference to the next level by offering innovative program content. There will be plenty of scheduled educational and informative sessions, but we have left room for you to, in real time, help create sessions as well. By adopting this approach, we offer you an opportunity to design and participate in highly interactive structured networking events, ad-hoc sessions and participant driven sessions that will focus on shared learning, experiences and problem solving.

Pre-Conference Seminar — Full to capacity

Conference registrants are invited to participate in a ½ day pre-conference Applied Analytics Experience, geared for those who are newer to data analytics. The seminar will kick off on Wednesday, June 24 with an overview of how to approach a “big data” problem. Attendees will be grouped into teams, given a data set, a computer, and a data problem to solve. Each team will have a different tool set to work with. We’ll conclude with presentations of the results and shared learning.
