Kevin Silva

Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Voya Financal

Kevin D. Silva is executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Voya Financial®, responsible for Human Resources, Corporate Responsibility and Voya Foundation. He also serves on Voya Financial’s Executive Committee. Prior to this, he served as chief human resources officer at Argo Group International, where he was responsible for implementing compensation, succession, and executive-development practices. Silva also spent more than 13 years at MBIA Insurance Corporation, where he served as chief administrative officer responsible for the human resources, corporate administration, information resources, facilities and telecommunications, and records-management functions. Silva has also served in senior human resources leadership roles at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, MasterCard International, and PepsiCo Management Institute/PepsiCo.

Silva earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from St. John’s University, and a master’s degree in psychology from New York University. He serves as chairman of the Board of Directors for New York Institute of Technology, and is a member of the Institute’s Executive Committee.

Vonda Huss

Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Brighthouse Financial

Vonda Huss is executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Brighthouse Financial. She is responsible for leading the Human Resources, Communications, Real Estate, and Community Relations organizations. Prior to Brighthouse, Huss was the executive vice president and co-head of Human Resources at Wells Fargo where she led the HR business partner organization, and had responsibility for compensation, talent acquisition, HR strategy, and employee relations. Prior to that, she was the HR Director for Wells Fargo's Wealth & Investment Management Division, where she led human capital strategy, leadership development, talent management, compensation, recruiting, and employee relations for 34,000 associates.

Huss received a B.S. in business administration from Appalachian State University, and an M.B.A. from Pfeiffer University. She serves on the Charlotte Metro YMCA board of directors and is the Chair of the Executive Compensation Committee. She also serves on the UNCC Belk College of Business Board of Directors as well as the Novant Health PMC Foundation Board of Directors.

Kristi Kaye Burma

Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Athene

Kristi Kaye Burma serves as Athene’s executive vice president of Human Resources. Burma is responsible for advising the executive leadership team, overseeing execution of all HR objectives, organizational development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and driving the organizational vision to help best position Athene for long-term talent management. Prior to this role, she served as senior vice president of Human Resources at Athene Holding and vice president of Human Resources at Aviva USA, until the acquisition of the business by Athene. During her time at Aviva, she was also business manager to CEO of Aviva USA, and vice president, Human Resources Business Partner, supporting North America. Before Aviva, Burma held various leadership positions in human resources.

Burma holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. She also is a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Connection and the West Des Moines Chamber board.
