Highlights
The nation is hitting Peak65, when more than 11,000 Americans are turning 65 each day. According to HHS, more than half (56%) of Americans over 65 will need some level of long-term care services within their lifetime. Yet, LIMRA estimates just 3% of Americans over age 50 have any LTC insurance protection, leaving many people on the financial hook to cover these expenses on their own. Join Bryan Hodgens, senior vice president and head of LIMRA research, and Karen Terry, corporate vice president and director LIMRA Insurance Research, as they examine the growing need and interest in long-term care insurance solutions.
