WINDSOR, Conn., Oct. 15, 2013 — With a theme of “Success Through Synergy,” the second annual LIMRA LOMA Asia Distribution Conference will take place from Nov. 20-21, 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“Our conference is an opportunity to learn how market leaders are developing and introducing successful programs in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Ian Watts, senior vice president and managing director for LIMRA and LOMA International Operations. “Attendees will be able to take away ideas and put them into action for their own businesses.”
Watts is moderating a senior executive panel, which will examine the issues surrounding channel conflict, revealing strategies to achieve channel synergy. Panel members will include Simon Bennett, president director and CEO of Commonwealth Life Indonesia and Candy Yuen, chief distribution and marketing officer, SLF Asia from Sun Life Financial Asia.
Opening the conference is Bryan Smith, president and CEO of Allianz Ayudhya Assurance who will discuss how understanding the customer is critical to the development of a sales strategy. The closing keynote speaker is William Lisle, CEO of AIA Berhad who will talk about creating a winning distribution mix and how to make sure different channels successfully work together.
In addition to general sessions related to overall distribution strategies, breakout sessions will be devoted to channel-specific topics in line with tied agency, bancassurance, and alternative distribution.
Attendees who register before Oct. 22, will receive a discount.
