WINDSOR, Conn., May 28, 2019—LIMRA and Asia Insurance Review today announce Andrew Chow, digital market strategist and best-selling author, will open the 2019 Agency Innovation Conference. The event will be held July 18, 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Over the past five years, Chow has addressed audiences totaling more than 50,000, in over 15 countries. Chow will discuss what companies should know about the difference between digitization and digital transformation; how to make learning and development a way of life; and ways in which companies can redesign the way they manage information.
The one-day event is focused on how technology is changing the expectations of consumers and agents, with sessions showcasing why insurers must adopt digital-friendly business models to attract and retain customers and agents/advisors, enhance channel performance, and remain competitive in the marketplace The planned session topics will also illustrate the many ways companies and agents are using technology to gain a competitive advantage.
There are also two panels featured during the conference:
- The Digital Advantage: Benjamin Ang, founding editor of Asia Advisors Network, Calvin Lee, financial services director, AXA Insurance Pte, Ltd., and Tay Kah Lok, digital agent of the year 2018, finexis Advisory Pte. Ltd., will share strategies and answer questions on how they are successfully gaining the digital advantage to grow their business.
- The Agent of the Future: Michael Gerber, CEO, 360F (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and Kartik Sakthivel, CIO, LIMRA and LOMA, will discuss evolving digital strategies and how they will impact agents and help them prospect and sell more efficiently.
