WINDSOR, Conn., Aug 31, 2020 – Top industry executives will explore how to create opportunity for the workplace benefits market at LIMRA’s 2020 Group & Worksite Benefits Virtual Conference, which will be held on Sept. 15-16.

The conference will focus on key industry issues in these uncertain times, including factors driving change in the benefits market. Executives and professionals in the workplace benefits area are encouraged to attend and network at this virtual event.

Pat Leary, corporate vice president and research director, LIMRA workplace benefits research, will lead a session titled “Big news! U.S. Elections and COVID-19”  with Sun Life’s James Slotnick, JD, assistant vice president, government relations, and Bryan Burke, director, voluntary products, to review the likeliest outcomes and impacts of the election on the workplace benefits industry. Topics will include:

Maurice Kuykendoll, vice president, corporate controllers, Prudential Financial, Inc., and Tammi Wortham, vice president, human resources, Sun Life U.S., will host a session on how addressing racial equity is a business imperative.

Steven Handmaker, chief marketing officer, Assurance, will share the secrets behind Assurance's celebrated and award-winning workplace culture and give tips for implementing similar strategies in the workplace—whether in-person or virtual.

The Group & Worksite Benefits Conference typically attracts industry professionals responsible for distribution and marketing of group and worksite/voluntary benefits, including life, disability, dental, vision, critical illness and accident, as well as other supplemental health products. Although virtual, this year will be no different. Throughout the two-day event, there will be half-hour breaks to visit a virtual exhibit hall and participate in discussions about hot topics.

Members of the press are welcome to attend the event at no cost. Please email media contacts below for more details. For more information and to register online, visit 2020 Group & Worksite Benefits Virtual Conference.
