WINDSOR, Conn. March 15, 2022 — Industry leaders attending the 2022 Life Insurance Conference, co-hosted by LIMRA, LOMA, the Society of Actuaries (SOA), and the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), will focus on new technologies and strategies to help them better engage the 102 million Americans who live with a life insurance coverage gap. The event will be from April 25 – 27 in Tampa, Florida.
“While life insurers have been working for several years to adopt new technologies to improve efficiencies, expand their reach with underserved markets, and enhance the customer experience, the pandemic certainly accelerated their efforts,” said John Carroll, senior vice president and head of insurance and annuities, LIMRA, LOMA & LL Global. "Attendees of the 2022 Life Insurance Conference will hear from experts and industry leaders about emerging trends, established best practices, and new ideas to help transform the industry."
Attendees will get a first look at the 12th annual Insurance Barometer Study, conducted by LIMRA and Life Happens. The study examines the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of adult consumers in the United States. Life insurers can use the new data and insights to aid in product development, as well as marketing and distribution strategies to engage more consumers.
Keynote speakers at this year’s event include:
Additional workshop sessions will cover understanding underserved markets, diversifying insurance talent, digital adoption, the regulatory environment, and evolutions in risk management.
