To provide a forum for LIMRA member companies in the Workplace Benefits arena to get together and discuss the unique issues, trends, challenges, opportunities and solutions as they relate to managing the various state regulations on leave management. The focus includes, but will not be limited to, bringing standardization and best practices to how carriers approach these issues and challenges and help drive a more unified approach in the marketplace. As this is a peer level work group, we encourage officer level attendees. All participants are expected to be an active participant in all discussions.
Target Membership: Individual(s) from a Group & Worksite Benefits Division of LIMRA member companies who is: • Responsible for the operational strategy and execution of leave management programs and is familiar and on point to work with their legal/compliance team on all aspects of legal and compliance policies as they relate to the various leave management programs. • The Product leader responsible for leave management programs and services and all relevant aspects of carrier’s regulatory and compliance issues related to leave management regulations • Legal or Compliance Counsel responsible for all relevant aspects of carrier’s regulatory and compliance issues related to leave management of the various state regulations All participants should be very experienced in their field. Each LIMRA member company will be limited to two representatives – must be from different disciplines.
