Join us for an overview of recent LIMRA research on the gig economy and implications for the workplace benefits industry. We will discuss gig workers financial concerns, access to insurance coverage, and unmet needs. Then we will explore employers’ interest in offering benefits to nontraditional workers, including seasonal workers and 1099 contractors.

Kimberly A. Landry

Assistant Research Director, Workplace Benefits Research, LIMRA

Landry conducts quantitative and qualitative research on hot topics within the employee benefits industry, with a specific focus on employer and employee perspectives. She is also responsible for LIMRA’s worksite and supplemental health research programs. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events, and is a staff rep for the Supplemental Health, DI & LTC Conference. Landry joined LIMRA in 2008. She received her bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University and her master's degree from the University of Hartford.
