The vast majority of U.S. employers have fewer than 100 employees. However, these businesses are less likely than their larger counterparts to offer insurance and retirement benefits to their workers. Join us for an overview of LIMRA’s recent research on small businesses’ views of benefits, including:

Kim conducts quantitative and qualitative research on hot topics within the employee benefits industry, with a specific focus on employer and employee perspectives. She is also responsible for LIMRA’s worksite and supplemental health research programs. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events. Kim joined LIMRA in 2008. She received her bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University and her master's degree from the University of Hartford.
Associate Research Director, Workplace Benefits Research, LIMRA and LOMA
Neyer’s area of expertise is monitoring and communicating trends in workplace insurance distribution. He manages benchmarking and carrier practice studies, as well as research projects focusing on employers, employees, and brokers/advisors. Neyer is a frequent author and presenter for industry publications and events, where he shares research-based insights. He manages LIMRA’s Account Management and Workplace Benefits Competitive Intelligence Study Groups and has served on committees for both the Voluntary Employee Benefit Board and the Voluntary Benefits Forum. He joined LIMRA in 1998 and received his bachelor’s degree and M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
