Rana joined Equisoft with over 25 years of experience in banking, insurance and financial services in roles at high profile organizations like GE Capital, American Express & Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.  As a strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution, Rana’s outstanding track record in P&L management has stemmed from his focus on optimizing cost structures and igniting profitable growth.  At Equisoft, Rana drives the success in the APAC region by leading sales and business development and drawing from his strong domain knowledge on Insurance sales, distribution and technology challenges faced by carriers.  He has a passion to provide a robust solutions and works tirelessly to help clients craft strategic initiatives for IT transformations to drive efficiency and profitable growth.

Alex helps lead McKinsey’s insurance work by providing expertise as well as building go-to-market assets and capabilities to drive client impact. He collaborates with executives at multinational corporations and regional organizations on strategy and growth programs, product innovation and distribution performance, digital and analytic transformations, and technology and capability building. His recent client work includes helping transform operations and portfolios, developing high-performance productivity improvement initiatives, defining global post COVID-19 strategies and business builds, and developing digital, analytics, and ecosystem strategies.  Prior to joining McKinsey, Alex worked in investment banking and management consulting; he also held C-suite positions at global insurance firms where he worked across life and retirement, property and casualty, and health insurance businesses. He also helped execute large transactions and structuring activities across the region such as portfolio acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, carve-outs, and divestments.  With a more recent focus on digital innovation, he helps lead efforts to build new insurance business models and chaired the digital innovation roundtable of a central bank and financial regulatory authority in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Over the years, Alex has also served on several boards across Asia.  Alex is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, regularly judges at fintech competitions, is the host of the McKinsey on Insurance podcast, and frequently publishes on innovation and transformation topics.

Tomasz grew up in Poland, where he also started his professional career as an entrepreneur at the tender age of 19. His work across multiple industries and countries provided him with experience in areas of business growth, transformation, building, and developing high performing teams and deep expertise in field of strategy, customer and technology. Tomasz is Chief Transformation and Digital Officer and executive committee member at AXA Singapore, where he is responsible for leading digital business, continuous growth and future-proofing of the organization. He is an active contributor to start-up and FinTech ecosystem as an ExCo member of Singapore Fintech Association, Chair of InsurTech committee, start-up mentor, speaker and FinTech educator.

Vice President & Chief Information Officer and Regional Chief Executive Officer – Asia West, LIMRA and LOMA

As chief information officer for LIMRA and LOMA, Kartik Sakthivel is responsible for developing the information technology strategic direction for the enterprise. In this capacity, he directs and manages computing and information technology policies, programs and schedules for business and enterprise systems, and manages information services to meet LIMRA and LOMA’s corporate goals and objectives.

An industry thought leader, he champions the use of technology to improve the revenue, profitability, and efficiency of the organization. Joining LIMRA and LOMA in 2017, Sakthivel has broad industry experience, most recently as director of technology at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

He holds a doctorate in Computer and Information Sciences with a focus on AI and Information Quality from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems/Information Technology, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
