Alex Kimura is a strategic and operations expert in the financial services industry and Asia markets.  Prior to McKinsey, Alex worked in investment banking and management consulting; later, held C-Suite positions in leading global insurance firms. He had profit and loss and line operational responsibilities that included distribution and wealth management, strategy, innovation and customer experience, M&A, corporate development, data analytics, digital transformation, and venture capital in several countries across Asia. A main area of recent focus has been on digital innovation where he spearheaded efforts to build the next generation of insurance business models and also chaired the digital innovation roundtable of Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).  For more than two decades, Alex has led top-tier insurance organizations and has been responsible for transformational development efforts across life, property and casualty, and health insurance businesses. He was also instrumental in executing the major transactions and structuring activities across the region, directing portfolio acquisitions, partnerships, joint-ventures, and divestments.

Tomasz is Chief Transformation and Digital Officer and executive committee member at AXA Singapore, where he is responsible for leading digital business, continuous growth and future-proofing of the organization. He is an active contributor to start-up and FinTech ecosystem as an ExCo member of Singapore Fintech Association, Chair of InsurTech committee, start-up mentor, speaker and FinTech educator.

As chief information officer for LIMRA and LOMA, Kartik Sakthivel is responsible for developing the information technology strategic direction for the enterprise. In this capacity, he directs and manages computing and information technology policies, programs and schedules for business and enterprise systems, and manages information services to meet LIMRA and LOMA’s corporate goals and objectives. An industry thought leader, Sakthivel champions the use of technology to improve the revenue, profitability, and efficiency of the organization.

Joining LIMRA and LOMA in 2017, Sakthivel has broad industry experience, most recently as director of technology at Liberty Mutual Insurance. He holds a Master of Science in computer information systems/information technology, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
