Windsor, CT, June 26, 2006 — Former President Bill Clinton will address leaders of major life insurance and financial services companies at LIMRA International's 2006 Annual Meeting in New York City Oct. 29-31.

"We are extremely proud to give our members the opportunity to hear President Clinton at a time when our nation and the world face such extraordinary challenges," said Bob Kerzner, president and CEO of LIMRA.

"One of these challenges is for businesses and consumers to find financial security in an uncertain and turbulent global economy," Kerzner said. LIMRA's member companies around the world provide insurance, investments, retirement products, and employee benefits to companies and consumers.

This year's annual meeting theme is "It's Time to Shine," focusing on how insurance and financial firms can serve the financial needs of the Baby-Boom generation now approaching retirement.

President Clinton, the first Baby Boomer to be elected president, will speak on Oct. 31 to conclude the conference. Clinton was elected president in 1992 and again in 1996 — the first Democratic president to be awarded a second term since Franklin D. Roosevelt.

In addition to President Clinton, the program will include a panel of CEOs discussing industry issues. The panel will feature Jon A. Boscia, chairman and CEO of Lincoln Financial Group; Christopher "Kip" Condron, president and CEO of AXA Financial, Inc.; and one other to be selected. Other key speakers will include NYU economist Giuseppe Ammendola, Ph.D., on global business trends, and Tulane University finance professor Peter Ricchiuti on markets.

The meeting, which will take place at the New York Hilton, typically draws more than 500 top executives from LIMRA member companies in the U.S., Canada, and abroad.
