WINDSOR, Conn., Aug. 2, 2011 — LIMRA received five awards from The Insurance and Financial Communicators Association (IFCA) for being among the best in marketing and communications creativity, design and writing.
The five awards include:
- “Best in Show” in the creativity category, IFCA’s highest honor, for Robert A. Kerzner’s speech at LIMRA’s 2010 Annual Conference.
- “Award of Excellence” in the social media category for The Next Generation of Talent, a video highlighting LIMRA’s research on what it will take to attract Generations X and Y job seekers to enter into a life insurance sales career.
- “Honorable Mention” in the Life Insurance Awareness Month category for a multi-media piece, called “Insure Your Love,” which promoted the idea of expressing love for one’s family by ensuring their financial security through life insurance.
- Two “Honorable Mention” awards for MarketFacts Quarterly, LIMRA’s quarterly publication, which offers in-depth articles devoted to the critical issues in the insurance and financial services industries.
Earlier this year, LIMRA’s MarketFacts Quarterly won FOLIO magazine’s prestigious 2010 Gold Eddie award, honoring editorial excellence. “It has been quite a year for the magazine,” noted Brad Ragaglia, editor in chief of MarketFacts. “To be recognized by two different peer groups for our work is remarkable.
