Latin American Executives Focus on Growth Strategies at 2017 Latin American Conference

WINDSOR, Conn., August 9, 2017 — More than 200 life insurance executives will convene at the LIMRA LOMA 2017 Latin American Conference, on September 10–12, 2017 in Santiago, Chile, to explore new strategies to improve productivity and expand market share.

Rodrigo Vergara, former president of the Central Bank of Chile, will open the conference as the keynote speaker. In his remarks, he is expected to offer an economic overview of Latin America and the implications for the life insurance industry. Other conference speakers include Dr. Winfried Heinen, chair of GenRe’s board of directors, who will share predictions for the future of the life insurance market and Jim Kerley, LIMRA LOMA chief membership officer, who will talk about strategies for success in a world of constant consumer and regulatory change.

Attendees of the 2017 LIMRA LOMA Latin American Conference can expect presentations on the impact of artificial intelligence on traditional channels, opportunities that can be gleaned from new regulations, and insights on how to best identify the needs of today’s customer.
