WINDSOR, Conn., Feb. 8, 2017 – LIMRA’s sales effectiveness program, Trustworthy Selling, has been ranked as the top training and development program in a survey of over 300 new and 200 established financial service representatives, conducted by Your Advice Career, an exclusive career site for the financial advice career.

As a partnership between LIMRA and Hoopis Performance Network (HPN), Trustworthy Selling takes HPN’s proven language and techniques and LIMRA's research insights on consumers to equip financial professionals with solutionsto engage today’s consumers on their terms and increase sales. Your Advice Career says the program, “was by far the highest reviewed for its effectiveness on an advisor’s practice and personal results.”

“At a time when there is more scrutiny around the relationship between the financial advisor and their client, Trustworthy Selling offers the knowledge and tools to better understand and engage with consumers,” said Sarah Schmidt, director of product management, LIMRA assessment and development solutions. “This study demonstrates that financial professionals recognize the value of our training and the importance of developing a trusted relationship with their clients."

LIMRA’s research into consumer behavior and behavioral finance has helped inform the program’s concepts, but the thinking behind its development addresses one of the profession’s most historically persistent issues: consumer trust. Trustworthy Selling helps financial professionals bridge the trust gap within the industry. The unique collaboration with HPN has produced a program which has helped more than 6000 financial professionals improve their productivity. LIMRA's Business Impact Results Tracking study found that the financial professionals who took the training saw up to 30 percent lift in their productivity.

Your Advice Career’s survey named another one of LIMRA’s training programs, Market-Ready Selling, as one of the top 5 on the list, even while still in its beta-testing phase. The program gives financial representatives crucial shortcuts to understanding their prospects based on the financial attitudes, purchase behaviors and buying styles of important market segments. The program is scheduled to be officially launched this summer, 2017.

The survey was conducted in order to rank the industry’s best training and development programs available. One respondent of the survey said of the Trustworthy Selling program, “The techniques I learned from Trustworthy Selling turned around my whole business. I tripled my results in a matter of months and continue to grow and employ what I learned from the program today. I could not have survived as a business owner without it.”

LIMRA’s Assessment and Development Solutions department is working to introduce more training programs for advisors in the near future. For more information on Trustworthy Selling and other programs visit http://www.trustworthysellinginfo.com/
