LL Global Hires Compliance Chief Officer to Lead Its Compliance and Regulatory Program

WINDSOR, Conn., March 3, 2020 – LL Global, Inc., the parent organization for LIMRA and LOMA, today announced it has hired Milton “Skip” Edmonds Jr. to lead its expanded Compliance and Regulatory program.
Edmonds has served in executive positions at leading U.S. life insurance companies for the past 25 years. Most recently, he was chief compliance officer for Prudential’s Work Place Solutions Group, Retirement and Group Insurance businesses.

It was critical that we find the right person to lead the efforts expanding our compliance offerings to help our members address today’s regulatory requirements,” said Kathryn N. His extensive experience and knowledge about the current financial services regulatory landscape will help us better serve our members and position LL Global as a vital resource in the future.”
As head of LL Global’s Compliance and Regulatory program, Edmonds will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of LL Global’s compliance and regulatory business — from product development and research to networking and convening of member companies. Edmonds also will lead the organization’s key strategic initiatives in the regulatory and compliance area, ensuring LL Global is positioned to be a key resource for member companies.
For more than 100 years, LL Global has worked with its members to develop cost-efficient, shared industry solutions, like anti-money laundering (AML) training, Customer Assurance Program, Recognizing Financial Exploitation program, and Best Interest training, to help financial services companies efficiently comply with regulatory and legislative requirements.
