2023 LIMRA Annual Conference to Host Conversation with Former New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern

WINDSOR, Conn. July 19, 2023 – The Right Honorable Dame Jacinda Ardern, the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, will give the closing keynote presentation at the 2023 LIMRA Annual Conference. The event will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD on Oct. 22 – 24.

Serving as New Zealand’s Prime Minister from 2017 – 2023, Ardern led her country through the COVID-19 pandemic. She also championed women’s empowerment by helping New Zealand achieve 50% representation of women in parliament and on government-appointed boards. She currently serves as the 2023 Angelopoulos Global Public Leaders Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School where she engages with students and faculty on building skills in principled leadership. Financial Services leaders will learn from her experiences of leading through adversity while championing kindness and “pragmatic idealism”.
