
WINDSOR, Conn., Aug. 24, 2026 – LIMRA and LOMA today announced that Todd Ferguson has joined the organization as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Reporting to Chief Administrative Officer, Kaye Hacker, Ferguson will be responsible for setting and executing the industry association’s enterprise technology strategy including advancing digital transformation, AI adoption, and data and cybersecurity capabilities.
Ferguson brings more than 25 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, data, and business operations. Before joining LIMRA and LOMA, Ferguson served as technology director for Human Resources and Development at State Farm Insurance, where he led technology strategy and delivery for approximately 145,000 employees and agents. In that role, Ferguson directed projects focused on platform modernization, cloud adoption, automation, artificial intelligence, governance, cybersecurity, and business resilience.
During his tenure at State Farm, Ferguson helped migrate workforce technology solutions to a primarily cloud-based software environment and accelerated AI adoption through Microsoft Copilot and intelligent agent technologies. Ferguson also led strategies that improved productivity, operational efficiency, and employee experience across the company.

Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and LOMA’s Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) professional designations.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ferguson has served in numerous board and advisory roles supporting higher education, nonprofit organizations, and community initiatives, including leadership positions with the University of Georgia MIS Board, Georgia State University CIS Board, and local public service organizations.
