Charles Lutz is a qualified actuary that has held the role of Senior Vice President of the Life and Health business in Latin America for Swiss Re in Mexico City since 2015. His responsibilities include pricing, underwriting and development of new solutions. Since 2020, he has also held the role of Head Business Development for LatAm. Charles has 22 years of experience with Swiss Re and spent 12 years in Zurich working in various corporate functions. In 2012, he moved to São Paulo, Brazil, where he worked developing the P&C business in the Southern Cone for 3 years. Before joining Swiss Re he held different actuarial roles in EMEA at consulting firms and reinsurance companies.

For more than 25 years, Carlos has worked for in the insurance and banking sectors in several positions as officer in various insurance companies; most recently as director of AXA Corporate University leading a new distribution channel, overseeing 300 direct agents in two different cities.

He was Risk Management Director in Grupo Financiero Promex Finamex, and prior to this, he was an insurance agent for Grupo Nacional Provincial, holding important positions in sales and attending Conventions every year.

He served as co-Chair of AMIS´ Distribution Channels Committee, participated as a spokesperson promoting an insurance culture in national media in programs such as Fernanda Familiar, was a columnist for Forbes Magazine and was on TV for more than 2 years in Excelsior TV with journalist Rodrigo Pacheco.

Academically, Carlos has a degree in Business Administration from La Salle University, a degree in Psychology from the University of the Valley of Mexico, a Master´s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Ph.D. in Neuropsychoanalysis from the Intercontinental University.

Mario graduated with a degree in Actuarial Sciences from PUC-SP, and has an Executive MBA in Insurance from FGV-SP. He began his insurance career in 1981, working with insurance companies to acquire extensive experience in the Technical, Claims and Commercial areas. He was CEO of multinational companies such as Sompo Japan and Allianz Seguros and has worked with several industry entities such as the National Insurance Federation (FENSEG), the São Paulo State Insurance Association (SINDSEG-SP), and the Brazilian Association of International Insurance Companies (ABCSI).  Mario was also a professor at the National School of Insurance Foundation Insurance (FUNENSEG) and is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Insurance and Pensions (ANSP).

La Dra. Alma Vera, es médica cirujana especialista en medicina de seguros, ingresó a RGA en enero de 2015 y actualmente se desempeña como Suscriptor Senior en el área de Vida Individual. Llevó a cabo sus estudios en Medicina en el Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.  Antes de unirse RGA, trabajó en el área clínica como Médico General dentro Dirección General de Planeación y Desarrollo en Salud de la Secretaria de Salud.  Es miembro del Comité Internacional de Medicina de Seguros (ICLAM por sus siglas en ingles), de la Asociación Americana de Medicina de Seguros (AAIMM) y de la Asociación de Seleccionadores de Riesgos en el Seguro de Personas.  Ha impartido ponencias en congresos y seminarios tanto nacionales como internaciones. Participa en proyectos de difusión en redes sociales y videos en temas de salud.
