WINDSOR, Conn., Sept. 19, 2012—The first annual Asia Distribution Conference, hosted by LIMRA and LOMA, will be held on Nov. 15-16, 2012, in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
"LIMRA’s research shows that distribution drives growth,” said Gary Aluise, senior vice president and managing director LIMRA/LOMA International Services. “As populations become more diverse and their needs more distinct, it is important that companies develop the appropriate distribution strategies to reach these targeted markets and successfully achieve their business goals. For this reason, we have developed a program to help our members understand the distinct characteristics of each channel to ensure their effectiveness."
The 2012 Asia Distribution Conference, themed “Connecting With the Customer,” will provide the latest distribution research from across the globe, and offer the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and top practitioners, who will share their experiences and knowledge on successful distribution strategies in Asia-Pacific, market trends, the regulatory environment and building effective bancassurance, tied agency, brokerage, and/or general agency channels.
The conference features a multi-disciplinary panel of executives to address the issues facing distribution leaders today and share their thoughts on the future of face-to-face sales and service. Moderated by Robert Kerzner, president and CEO of LIMRA, LOMA and LL Global, the panels includes, William Lisle, chief distribution officer, AIA Group; David Wong, senior vice president and regional executive for Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, Manulife Limited; and Arjan Toor, chief marketing officer, Global Health, Life & Accident, Cigna.
