WINDSOR, Conn., Oct. 14, 2015 — LIMRA today announced today that Larry Hartshorn has joined the company as corporate vice president and director of its international research program.

His vast experience and perspective will help further LIMRA’s position as the trusted source of industry knowledge worldwide.”
In his new role, Hartshorn will be responsible for the development and execution of LIMRA’s international research strategy. Under his guidance, the international research unit will continue to conduct a wide variety of research, providing insights and trends in distribution, consumer behavior and sentiment, products, retirement and technology for markets throughout the world.
Prior to joining LIMRA, Hartshorn was executive director for Greater China in Shanghai for Aetna. His responsibilities included strategic planning, research, management operation and consulting. Prior to Aetna, Hartshorn was research program manager for The Ohio State University, managing multi-million dollar cluster of private, state and federal grants targeting primary, secondary and higher education curriculum reform.
