Best Practices Will Be Examined At Event in August in Silicon Valley
WINDSOR, Conn., July 20, 2015 — Recent LIMRA research has found that six in 10 financial services companies are providing training and content to support social media use by their professionals. To help companies effectively use social media and assist their salespeople in social media use, LIMRA and LOMA are pleased to announce that the sixth annual LIMRA LOMA Social Media Conference for Financial Services will take place Aug. 19–21 in San Francisco.
The conference’s theme is “Social Media to Social Business,” and its sessions are designed to show professionals the best ways to use social media within the confines of the financial services industry — and how to improve results by using social media.
General session speakers will include Chris Brogan, CEO, Owner Media Group, who will discuss the need to build deeper connections online, and author Scott Klososky, who will provide insights into how customers’ journeys are evolving in the digital age.
Workshops at the conference will cover issues related to marketing compliance, independent distribution, customer experience, budgets and data analytics.
At the event, LIMRA and LOMA will present Silver Bowl Awards, which recognize excellence, innovation and achievement in social media use by financial services companies.
Executives and professionals in compliance, distribution, information technology, marketing, operations and sales at life insurance and financial services companies will gather for the event at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. Those who register by July 24 will receive a discount. For more information and to register online, please visit: LIMRA LOMA 2015 Social Media Conference for Financial Services.
