WINDSOR, Conn., May 30, 2017 – LIMRA today announced it is accepting nominations for 25 promising leaders in marketing and communications under 40 in the financial services industry.
The Rising Star contest recognizes the industry’s best and brightest professionals under 40 who support marketing and communications within their companies. LIMRA started this contest in 2016 as part of their 100th Anniversary celebration.
“Technology has empowered today’s consumers to compare products and services like never before. As a result, financial services companies must evolve, effectively using new tactics and platforms to engage consumers. Many marketing and communications professionals are leading the efforts to adopt modern marketing tools that support their companies’ objectives,” said Lisa Tanen-La Fontaine, chief marketing officer, LIMRA and LOMA. “This contest is designed to recognize the next generation of marketing and communications leaders who will take us into a more customer-centric marketplace.”
LIMRA member companies’ employees who are under 40 years old and have a role in marketing and communications are eligible for nomination. All submissions should include a detailed description of why the nominee is an up-and-comer in their field along with a high-resolution photo (min 300 dpi). Deadline for entry is Monday, July 10, 2017 at 5 P.M. Eastern. A panel of judges will review all entries and select the 25 winners.
