2018 Creative Connections Winners to be announced at the event


WINDSOR, Conn., May 2, 2018Sean ODonnell LIMRA’s 2018 Marketing Conference, scheduled May 30-June 1, will explore the latest strategies to reach the evolving customer-centric market.

Conference sessions will follow the theme of Reinventing the Journey, as speakers discuss new customer expectations along with the demand for a more personalized experience. Top industry professionals will gather to offer their observations on four key focus areas: digital initiatives, consumer insights, customer experience and marketing strategy.

“Companies need to explore new methods of personalization to appeal to today’s customers,” notes Sean O’Donnell, vice president, LIMRA member relations and consulting. “It is almost impossible to reach modern-day consumers using traditional marketing tactics. With more than 25 years’ of marketing experience, O’Donnell will present new ways that marketing departments must adapt to succeed in today’s organizations. Marketers are now being tasked with finding intel and developing insights within research – and then communicating why the findings are relevant, what they mean for the consumer, and how their organizations can capitalize on these findings.

During the conference, LIMRA will also announce the winners of the 2018 Creative Connections contest. In its second year, the awards recognize creative excellence, innovation and achievement in holistic financial services marketing.

The conference, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, typically attracts more than 200 financial service professionals in all areas of marketing – product, consumer, producer, digital and strategy.
