WINDSOR, Conn.,Dave Rengachary, M.D. July 19, 2018 – Speakers at the 2018 Supplemental Health, DI, & LTC Conference will explore medical and technological trends that will impact the future of the insurance industry in San Diego on August 6-8, 2018. The conference, jointly hosted by LIMRA, LOMA and the Society of Actuaries (SOA), will provide a variety of sessions covering multiple product lines.

The conference will follow the theme of Diverse Products – Common Goals. The topics will span across three product-focused tracks: supplemental health (accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity), disability insurance and long-term care. Top industry professionals involved in product development, underwriting, claims and others in separate tracks for each product, are encouraged to attend.

Dave Rengachary, M.D., senior vice president and chief medical director of US mortality markets, RGA Reinsurance Company, will discuss top trends in medicine that are expected to grow. His presentation, Exciting New Medical Frontiers: Are You Prepared, will look at the 5-10-year horizon of these trends and assess how each will transform the life and health insurance industry.
