WINDSOR, Conn., January 23, 2019 - LIMRA is now accepting nominations for its Creative Connections Award Contest. This award program, established in 2017, recognizes and rewards marketing and creative excellence, innovation and achievement, highlighting best practices in financial services marketing.
“We created the Creative Connections Award not only to recognize and reward marketing creativity and strategic excellence in the industry but also to showcase how marketing contributes to a company’s bottom line, “ said Lisa Tanen-La Fontaine, chief marketing officer, LIMRA and LOMA. “We recognize that not all companies have access to the same types of resources to build marketing campaigns so we made a change to this year’s contest to help make sure companies compete on a fair playing field.”
New this year, there will be two categories by company size. Separate platinum and gold awards will be given to companies with 4,500 corporate employees or less and for companies with 4,501 or more corporate employees.
The award is open to any financial services firm (LIMRA or LOMA membership is not required) except service providers and software companies unless they are entering on behalf of their clients and have their clients consent.
Platinum and Gold winners in both categories will be announced during a special awards ceremony at the LIMRA Marketing Conference on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston, MA. Finalists will be announced ahead of time and are encouraged to attend the awards ceremony.
The final award winners will be determined based on how well they demonstrate the ability to integrate multiple marketing platforms and channels to build connective campaigns that support business objectives for their company. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 at 5 P.M. Eastern.
“Last year we received some extraordinary entries and we can’t wait to see what the industry is doing in terms of marketing this year,” added Tanen-La Fontaine.
