LIMRA surveyed carriers regarding their product and service offerings, strategy, and plans regarding leave and absence management programs.

The results are based on responses from the 18 carriers that indicated they currently offer Absence Management or Leave Management programs. Additionally, one carrier plans to offer a program, while another is considering it. Twenty-three companies participated in the survey.

Meet the Project Director

Anita Potter

Anita Potter oversees LIMRA’s Workplace Benefits Research program. In this role, she directs a team of researchers that conduct surveys covering sales, distribution, product design, company practices, as well as various shareholder marketing studies.

With over 25 years of employee benefits research experience, Anita helps companies understand the trends affecting the current employee benefits landscape. She is a frequent speaker at industry forums, and has authored numerous articles and reports on marketing issues related to employee benefits and the long-term care marketplace.

Potter earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and her master’s degree from the University of Hartford.
