Summary

The BEAT (Benefits and Employee Attitude Tracker) is an annual survey which tracks employee attitudes towards work in general and workplace benefits in particular. This second annual report looks at shifts in employee attitudes since last year and also explores some new hot topics. Covered topics include the importance and perceived value of benefits, satisfaction with benefits, the role of benefits in employee loyalty, unmet needs, benefits education and communication, factors influencing benefits decisions, cost concerns, overall job satisfaction, plans to change jobs, and factors they look for in a potential employer. Results are based on a survey of over 4,000 U.S. employees conducted in January 2023.
