Summary
The Benefits and Employee Attitude Tracker (BEAT) is an annual survey that tracks employee attitudes toward work in general, and workplace benefits in particular. This fifth annual report looks at shifts in attitudes since last year and also explores some new hot topics. Covered topics include financial concerns, benefit needs, satisfaction, awareness, understanding, communication and enrollment preferences, spending limits, and overall attitudes toward employers. Results are based on a survey of over 4,000 U.S. employees conducted in January 2026.

Meet the Project Director
Kimberly A. Landry
Kim conducts quantitative and qualitative research on hot topics within the employee benefits industry, with a specific focus on employer and employee perspectives. She is also responsible for LIMRA’s worksite and supplemental health research programs. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events. Kim joined LIMRA in 2008. She received her bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University and her master's degree from the University of Hartford.
