Prior to joining ReMark, Christian worked for the two top Mexican insurers, gaining experience in contact centers and alternative channel insurance sales.

Gina has 16 years of experience in the insurance industry and has held various positions in the planning and marketing areas at Colmena, Allianz and MetLife.

He has worked as a professor at the Escuela de Seguros, teaching the Introduction to Insurance and Insurance Company Administration courses, has a degree in Engineering Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and is a graduate of Industrial Civil Engineering with a mention in Computing from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.  He is also a permanent member of multiple committees of the Association of Insurers of Chile A.G.

Prior to his current position, Mauricio worked at several other insurance companies, most recently at MetLife, where he was a member of the MDRT from 2017-2021 and gave talks, courses and conferences to different agents and promoters within the company about products, sales techniques, and objection handling.

Rajatesh Gudibande is the co-founder and CEO at GraphWear Technologies Inc., a venture-backed startup based in San Francisco, California that is transforming the way human health is mapped. GraphWear is building the first no-needle, no-blood platform to diagnose and monitor diseases continuously without breaking the skin, with the first target being glucose levels for patients with diabetes. Before founding GraphWear, Rajatesh was the lead scientist and later Sr. Product Manager at Graphene Frontiers, where he managed the development of a cardiac troponin diagnostic test for Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI). Prior to that Rajatesh was a nano-fabrication engineer at University of Pennsylvania, where he developed, characterized, and fabricated devices made of novel 2D nanoscale materials-including the Nobel prize winning material, Graphene. Rajatesh received his M.S. in Nanotechnology from University of Pennsylvania and B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India. Rajatesh has patents and peer reviewed publications in electrical engineering, nanotechnology and signal processing.

Ricardo Hausmann is a pioneer in researching the causes of macroeconomic volatility in emerging markets, studying the role of budgetary and political institutions in achieving a fiscal balance, the role of external debt in foreign currency in economic crises, and its effects on the growth, poverty and inequality in developing countries. Under his leadership, Harvard’s Growth Lab has grown into one of the most well regarded and influential hubs for research on international development.

Since launching the Growth Lab in 2006, Hausmann has served as principal investigator for more than 50 research initiatives in nearly 30 countries, informing development policy, growth strategies and diversification agendas at the national and sub-national levels. His work has been published in top international economic journals, including Science, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of International Economics, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of International Money and Finance, Economic Policy and the Journal of Economic Growth. These publications have been cited more than 42,000 times, and their main findings have been highlighted in mass media outlets such as The New York Times, The Financial Times, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

Before joining Harvard University, he served as the first Chief Economist of the Inter-American Development Bank, Minister of Planning of Venezuela, a member of the Board of the Central Bank of Venezuela, and Chair of the IMF-World Bank Development Committee. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University.

Harry Hoopis is the Chief Executive Officer of the Hoopis Performance Network and is a renowned entrepreneur, leader, speaker and industry icon. Over his 40 year career, he built one of the largest and most successful financial services firms in the world in Chicago, Illinois. During his illustrious career, Harry was awarded the Master Agency Award every year since its inception, received the Robert Templin Award for his many contributions to management development and is the recipient of NAIFA Chicago’s Leadership in Life Award. Harry was inducted in the GAMA International Management Hall of Fame. He served on the Board of Trustees for the GAMA International Foundation and is Past President of GAMA International as well as Northwestern Mutual’s General Agent’s Management Association. He is still an active member of two of the industry’s most elite study groups, the LIMRA Research Agencies Group and the General Agents Symposium. Harry is also the principal author of The Essentials of Management Development, creator of the Firm Foundations seminar series, and developer of the Fixed Activity Commitment System. Harry is the author of the best-selling book, The Road to the Bountiful Life: Achieving Success in Financial Services and donates all proceeds to the GAMA Foundation.

For more than 25 years, Carlos has worked for in the insurance and banking sectors in several positions as officer in various insurance companies; most recently as director of AXA Corporate University leading a new distribution channel, overseeing 300 direct agents in two different cities.

He was Risk Management Director in Grupo Financiero Promex Finamex, and prior to this, he was an insurance agent for Grupo Nacional Provincial, holding important positions in sales and attending Conventions every year.

He served as co-Chair of AMIS´ Distribution Channels Committee, participated as a spokesperson promoting an insurance culture in national media in programs such as Fernanda Familiar, was a columnist for Forbes Magazine and was on TV for more than 2 years in Excelsior TV with journalist Rodrigo Pacheco.

Academically, Carlos has a degree in Business Administration from La Salle University, a degree in Psychology from the University of the Valley of Mexico, a Master´s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Ph.D. in Neuropsychoanalysis from the Intercontinental University.

Joe Jordan, inspirational speaker and behavioral finance expert, is the author of the award-winning book Living a Life of Significance which has sold over 100,000 copies and is translated in five languages. Formerly, Joe ran insurance sales at PaineWebber and more recently was a senior vice president at MetLife. He was responsible for retail product development and started their fee-based financial planning program and behavioral finance department. Joe is also a founder of the Insured Retirement Institute (formally known as the National Association of Variable Annuities or NAVA) and has been featured on the cover of Life Insurance Selling magazine.  For three consecutive years, he has been honored by Irish America magazine as one of the “Top 50 Irish Americans on Wall Street.” He was inducted into the Fordham University Football Hall of Fame and has played rugby for the New York Athletic Club for 30 years.

Prior to joining Pan-American Life, José held senior management posts in the insurance industry for more than four decades, including serving as senior executive vice president and chief distribution officer of AXA Financial. He also opened “The Suquet Agency” which was among the sales and marketing leaders of The Equitable and awarded Equitable’s President's Trophy for eight consecutive years.  José is currently serving on the Boards of Directors of  Regions Financial Corporation; and the Ochsner Health System. He previously served as a board member for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta; Retail Payments Oversight Committee; and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, New Orleans Branch.  José graduated from Fordham University in New York with a Bachelor of Science and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. He is also a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Governance Fellow.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing. Email: customer.service@limra.com. Cancellations received by September 20, 2022, will be refunded, less a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after September 20, 2022. In the event that a scheduled meeting or event is cancelled by LIMRA/LOMA for any reason, LIMRA/LOMA shall refund any conference registration fees that have been paid by the registrant. Under no circumstances, however, shall LIMRA/LOMA be liable to the registrant for any other expenses.
